God

The Creator. The quintessence of love. A being of unlimited power. These descriptions seem fantastical, but they are valid. The universe is a big place, so to dismiss the notion without carefully considering the evidence would go against the heart of the scientific method.

The logic arguments have been discussed for ages, and anecdotal evidence usually isn’t appealing, so I present the bible. The bible is unique because it gives a record of world history, both in past and present. While it’s interpretation sometimes requires linguistic and cultural context, it has been a good source of insight for historians, with it’s events being matched in other non-biblical texts.

History is important; it gives a frame of reference for future aspirations, and a sense of identity. With humanity as the frame, the bible shows that God’s character is that of a unchanging, and benevolent ruler. It has insight that explains the way some things are today.

With some of the popular theories surrounding human origin and world being dubious, I encourage you to have an open mind, and see for yourself.

It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out. - Proverbs 25:2
